Super Dri, Ridge and Power Core technologies yield a slick, highly durable running line that's far less prone to tangles.
Ridge Running Line Extremetop
Equally at home in fresh or saltwater
Equally at home in fresh or saltwater, the Ridge Running Line Extreme has a slightly harder coating that's much less wiry than mono and shoots a country mile. Includes two Flexi Loops: 1/2 inch on the back and 6inch on the front for easy head changes. 20, 30 and 50lb Power Core options make this the ultimate workhorse running line.
Scandi Longtop
Powerful, long-distance delivery
Folks have been asking us to develop a line that will give them more distance and offer more control once the line is on the water - and we've been listening.
We stretched and tweaked DNA from the popular Scandi Compact until we had a line that would load like the shorter Scandi but with additional length to allow users to form a deeper "D" or "V" Loop and cast father than ever before.
Designed to take advantage of modern two-handed rods that generate higher line speeds, these heads are perfect for surface and near-surface presentation, and will even turn over sinking Polyleaders when fish aren't feeding up top. With the new Scandi Long, the opposite bank is now part of the playing field.
Skagit Compact F.I.S.Ttop
loating. Intermediate. Sink Three. The Comp F.I.S.T. fishes deeper and slower than others because of its triple density construction

Skagit Drivertop
The Skagit Driver sits slightly lower in the water helping to better load the rod when making a cast
its unique density slows down the swing, which keeps you in the game longer. Armed with Power Core technology and printed welded loops in varying colors for easy identification, this head's legit.
Skagit Scouttop
The ultimate single-hand Skagit line
The ultimate single-hand skagit line. The Scout is perfect for single-hand spey casting or when fishing switch rods in tight quarters. Specifically designed to easily load modern switch and short spey rods, the Streamer Switch will help anglers of any level of skill or experience cast more efficiently and effectively.
Bridge Outfitting
Mainstemtop
Big Casts, Big Water, More Fishing, Less Shooting.
Longer heads are having a resurgence in popularity and today's Spey Casters are once again enjoying the benefits that longer heads provide. Today's mid-length heads are more user friendly and easier to cast then the ones anglers remember from the past.
Traditionally inspired but modern in design, the Mainstem Spey Line is a mid length, full floating shooting head. Its taper efficiently delivers a monofilament leader and traditional wet or dry fly cleanly at moderate to extended distances. The Mainstem features powerful turnover and excellent distance potential for any time that target is just a little (or a lot) further out than usual. Recommended for rod lengths 13 ft 6" and longer for best performance and ease of use.
Torrenttop
Heavy Payloads With Surprising Finesse
Our Torrent head is a short aggressive shooting head for heavier sinking tips and all but the largest and heavily weighted flies. It's taper design gives it extended flight time and a finess feel while still delivering the punch needed for heavier payloads. Starting with shorter lengths in lighter designations to suit shorter rods most commonly used in lighter line designations, and getting longer as grains increase to provide ideal head lengths for the longer rods often used in higher line designations. Recommended for use with two handed rods of any length and line designation.
Tributarytop
LONG LINE ADVANTAGES IN SHORT LINE TERRITORY.
The Tributary Spey Line is an easy casting, medium-short shooting head that strikes an appreciable balance between lines both long and short. Designed as a full floating head the Tributary is geared for moderate to large sized rivers and small to medium sized flies fished on monofilament leaders or light polyleaders. Line lengths in this range of shooting heads are geared to fit the most common North American rod sizes.
This design features a powerful and efficient taper that produces long powerful casts and positive turnover with reduced casting effort, a great way to enjoy some of the benefits of a longer head without the steep learning curve. Recommended for rod lengths 12 ft and above.
WinterTidetop
SINK TIP DELIVERY WITHOUT THE CLUNK.
Winter and late Fall Steelheading doesn’t always involve dragging bottom, tungsten impregnated sink tips and six inch rabbit strip flies. For those who enjoy their cold weather Steelhead fishing with finesse we offer our Wintertide Shooting Head Spey Line. The Wintertide will handle tips to approximately 100 grains at up to 15 foot lengths with small to moderate sized flies, and is as at home with touch and go casts as it is with sustained anchors. If your Fall or Winter Steelheading involves coastal or interior rivers where the fish reside in shallow runs, riffles, and broad tailouts the Wintertide is an ideal tool for the job.

OPST (Olympic Peninsula Skagit Tactics)
Commando Groovetop
Intermediate Skagit Heads
Introducing the Commando Groove, OPST's new dual-density floating/intermediate heads. Featuring the same popular and effective taper designed by Skagit guru Ed Ward, now in a floating rear third and an intermediate front to really slow down that swing and presentation, along with getting that head and tip under the conflicting surface currents for a more user friendly swing as well! Available in Commando Head sizes ranging from 200 grains all the way up to 475 grains, to cover all your needs on the water. Same great Commando heads now in dual density intermediate to round out your Pure Skagit quiver. Slide into that slot with the Commando Groove!
Commando Headtop
Designed by Ed Ward
OPST Commando Heads are configured to expand the capabilities of shorter spey rods, switch rods and single-handed fly rods beyond that of "normal". The ultra-short design provides an "effortless" casting feel and enhances casting performance in circumstances of restricted casting room, troublesome winds, and in casting bulky flies. These lines have been specifically tailored to match up with OPST's Commando Tips, but work well with MOW Tips and any tip system of similar length and weight. Please refer to our website at pureskagit.com for very helpful instructional content and other cool stuff!
Commando Smoothtop
Integrated Skagit Head and Running Line
The original OPST Commando Head changed the game for trout spey and single hand skagit tactics. But for streamer, dry fly and nymph fishing, where you often fish at close range and strip flies right up to the rod tip, we knew we could improve it. Enter the Commando Smooth - A Commando Head and a thin, slick coated running line integrated into one with a smooth, gradual taper. No longer will you feel a bump as the running line/Commando Head junction enters the guides. You won't feel anything at all, except a jarring strike as a fish attacks your streamer. We listened to the requests of numerous Commando Head fans, and created a line that fishes even better than the original. The Commando Smooth is designed to be used with our micro tips and Commando floating tips, from 5 to 10 feet long. Tips are easily switched out thanks to a welded loop at both ends of the line. The running line is orange to provide a nice contrast against the Sauk blue head. If you are looking for a line that can do almost anything, experience the Commando Smooth. It's just like the wildly popular Command Head. Only Smoother.
Pure Skagit Lazar Linetop
Slick, Thin and Easy Shooting
OPST Pure Skagit Lazar Line epitomizes everything people love about monofilament running lines: slickness, easy shooting, and thinness. Even better, it lacks memory, the main drawback common in mono. If you like to make a cast and then kick back and enjoy the scenery while your running line is streaming out, maybe taking a bite of your sandwich as you achieve more distance than ever before, Lazar Line is for you. This ultra-thin, extremely slick running line will shock you with how little memory it has. We still laugh when we take strips of line off of our reels because we can't believe how good it is, even after years of use. A new spool will have some memory, but if you stretch the line and, even better, pull it through your fingers, you will see that memory disapears. Lazar Line is a low-stretch monofilament, and thanks to that and to its thin diameter, it ties neat and strong knots. We have tested it in both hot and cold conditions and have found it outstanding at any temperature.

Elite Skagit Max GameChangertop
EASY CASTING, MULTIPLE DENSITY SKAGIT HEADS for large flies and sink tips
RIO's INTOUCH SKAGIT MAX GAMECHANGER heads are the perfect delivery system for casting large flies and sink tips. The heads feature RIO's Multi Density Control - a seamless blend of three or four different densities that ensures the smoothest transition of energy when casting, and the very best depth control when fishing. Say goodbye to hinging, weak casts and poor turnover with these killer heads. Each head is built with an ultra-low stretch core for the maximum in sensitivity and performance.
A shooting line and a sink tip are required to make these heads perform at their best.
The three different density options give angles total control over the depth fished. The F/H/I option is great with an intermediate, type 3 tip, regular iMOW and "T" tips, and swings beautifully between 2ft-4ft. The F/H/I/S3 is ideal for adding type 3 and type 6 tips, as well as regular "T" tips., and good for swinging between 4ft and 8ft down. The fastest sinking, bottom-dredging F/I/S3/S5 head is the best choice for winter fishing and for getting the slowest, deepest swing. With a regular "T" tip on the end, this thing fishes between 8 and 12ft in depth.

The low stretch core gives incredible levels of sensitivity when casting and fishing, and provides enhanced detection of takes, more positive hook sets, and far greater control when playing a fish.

After years of success as the secret weapon of European anglers, we are proud to introduce our multi-density Scandi 3D shooting heads to everyone else. Seamlessly integrating three different densities along the length of a single head, RIO's InTouch Scandi 3D heads cut through wind and current, and let you swing the fly deep without snagging bottom when the current slows. We build these lines around our ultra-low-stretch ConnectCore for enhanced sensitivity, easier mends, and faster hook sets. In short, Scandi 3Ds revolutionize how we fish rivers at depth, and change the very definition of "fly water."
Floating/Hover/Intermediate: The ideal head for swinging flies in the top three feet of the water column. The floating back portion makes mending and pickups easy, while the hover midsection and intermediate tip keeps the fly fishing below the surface.
Hover/Intermediate/Sink 3: This head is built for deeper presentations or heavier currents, swinging the fly, on average, two to five feet below the surface. The Hover back section allows for easy casting and line control, while the intermediate mid-section and Sink 3 tip hold the fly at fish level.
Intermediate/Sink 3/Sink 5: When you really have to get down to the fish, this is the fastestsinking, deepest-fishing head we make. It swings the fly, on average, between four and 10 feet deep, and yet the graduated density still allows for outstanding line control and easy casting.

The PowerSpey is Rio's answer for those casters that prefer a longer belly line. A unique taper design makes this an incredibly easy line to spey cast with - at any length - and traditional anglers will love the longer head length for precise fly control and efficient casting. Scandi Headtop
An easy casting shooting head designed for effortless distance and great presentation.
The RIO Scandi head is a very easy casting Scandi style shooting head, built on RIO's ultra-low stretch ConnectCore for the utmost in casting control and sensitivity. "Scandi" style heads feature long, fine front tapers that unroll with ease, remain stable and smooth throughout the casting stroke and are very easy, and pleasant to cast.
Scandi heads are the best line in tight casting situations and a particularly good choice on smaller rivers, and for novice to average casting skills - particularly when smaller and unweighted flies are used. They are not the right choice of head for windy days, or for casting big flies and fast sinking tips.In these situations a Skagit head would be a far better choice.

Scandi Shorttop
An easy casting shooting head designed for effortless distance and great presentation.
THE RIO SCANDI head is a very easy casting Scandi style shooting head, built on RIO’s ultra-low stretch ConnectCore for the utmost in casting control and sensitivity. It is available in a multitude of lengths and weights to cover all rod and angling situations. For tight casting spots and the utmost in ease of casting use a head length that is between 2.5 and 3 times the length of the rod, thus a 12 ft rod would work best with a head that is between 30 and 36 ft in length. The shorter the head length, the tighter the back casting space an angler can fish in. With more room and better casting skills a longer head provides the angler with less line to strip in between each cast and more fishing time.

Skagit Floatingtop
FLOATING SKAGIT HEAD FOR SALMON AND STEELHEAD
We have a completely redesigned our Skagit head series for 2021. Leaving the traditional, level-belly Skagit tapers behind, our new lines are fully tapered from end to end. This provides the smoothest power delivery from the rod, through the line, to the tip, and ultimately to the fly. We have painstakingly optimized the tip diameter of these heads to cover a broad spectrum of sink tip lengths and weights. No matter what you attach to the end, this line will deliver it accurately with authority.
The floating head is available in a visible, but not obnoxious, sky blue color. The back of the head is identified with a black band that contrasts well with bright colored shooting lines.
