Alaskaboutop
Marabou popsicle fly
The Alaskabou series of flies is popular for catching salmon and steelhead from California to Alaska. The most popular in the series being the Popsicle. Tied using marabou and Krystal Flash, this fly is very enticing to a fish with a bunch of movement and bright colours. Tied on the heavy-wire size 1 AquaTalon hook, our Alaskabou flies can handle any size salmon or steelhead.
Brett's Klamath Intrudertop
Small and mighty
Tied on a 26mm Aqua Flies shank, this little intruder has all the characteristics of its big brother: it moves and breathes while maintaining a profile.

The Dirty Hoh is a cross between an Intruder and a String Leech. It has a rabbit strip to get leech-like movements and a shoulder in the front tied like an Intruder to give the fly a large profile. Three sizes: Mini is 3", Steelhead size is 3.5" and Chinook size is 4"
Fiddle Dtop
Summer steelhead fly
The traditional summer steelhead flies were developed on the fabled rivers of the Pacific Northwest, such as the Umpqua, Deschutes, and the Rogue. Our traditional summer steelhead flies are tied on the AquaTalon traditional black nickel, up-turned eye, salmon hook.
Freight Traintop

Gamboa's Halo Prawntop
Translucent looking prawn pattern

The Halo Prawn is Dennis' first submission, Dennis used Slush Jelly Chenille to give the fly a translucent appearance.
Green Burlesquetop
Summer steelhead fly
The traditional summer steelhead flies were developed on the fabled rivers fo the Pacific Northwest, such as the Umpqua, Deschutes, and the Rogue. Our traditional summer steelhead flies are tied on the AquaTalon traditional black nickel, up-turned eye, salmon hook.
Green Butt Skunktop
Summer steelhead fly
The traditional summer steelhead flies were developed on the fabled rivers of the Pacific Northwest, such as the Umpqua, Deschutes, and the Rogue. Our traditional summer steelhead flies are tied on the AquaTalon traditional black nickel, up-turned eye, salmon hook.
Greg's Krillertop
Constructed on the banks of the Kanektok River
Constructed on the banks of the Kanektok River, the killer krill, or Kriller, was designed for maximum castability as well as its flaring motion when swinging across hydraulic "fences" in the water column. With the weight of the dumbbell eyes at the back of the shank, the Kriller swings deep with more of a downward-diagonal profile than most traditional patterns. A devouring size for both chrome Chinook and Steelhead, having the eyes closer to the hook attracts some of the most aggressive eats you can find near tidewater!
Hartwick's Brown Hiltontop
Summer steelhead fly
The traditional summer steelhead flies were developed on the fabled rivers of the Pacific Northwest, such as the Umpqua, Deschutes, and the Rogue. Our traditional summer steelhead flies are tied on the AquaTalon traditional black nickel, up-turned eye, salmon hook.
Hartwick's Flashtail Tubestop
Tube Fly
Jason Hartwick's Flashtail Tube series is tied in a style to provide a lot of flash and a moderate size profile. A brass cone is used to hold the marabou in a position so the profile will not collapse.
Hartwick's Hoser Tubestop
Presents a giant, flowing profile
Hartwick's Hoser Tube presents a giant, flowing profile in the water. Weight has been added in the form of a tungsten cone. Not only does this cone add weight, but it is tied in reverse so it creates a solid bump where the marabou is tied in. The marabou will not collapse and the profile remains, even in the fastest water.
Hartwick's Marabou Tubetop
Tube Fly
Hartwick's Marabou Tube Flies are tied on a 1" plastic tube. Utilizing marabou, Angel Hair, and an ostrich wing, these flies have a lot of movement. They are lightweight and easy to cast. Ring eye hook included.
Hartwick's Skinny Spratleytop
Summer steelhead fly
The traditional summer steelhead flies were developed on the fabled rivers of the Pacific Northwest, such as the Umpqua, Deschutes, and the Rogue. Our traditional summer steelhead flies are tied on the AquaTalon traditional black nickel, up-turned eye, salmon hook.
Hartwick's Tungsten Cyclops Leechtop
Designed to get down
The Cyclops Leech is designed to get down and keep a profile while moving like a snake. With the 7/32" tungsten bead, this fly will break through the toughest of currents. Rigged with a Gamakatsu Octopus hook.
Jason's Sputnik Tubetop
Jason Osborn pattern
The Sputnik Tube Intruder is a blend of traditional Intruder styling and European highlights. A fusion of natural and synthetic materials; Finn Raccoon, Arctic Fox, Ostrich, Predator Wrap and Marabou add to this flies swimming action. The Finn Raccoon wing is reminiscent of Scandi styles. Two stations similar to Intruders. A collar weight behind the front station helps to get the fly down. The Sputnik has great movement and a profile in the water that is irresistable to fish.
Jerry's Intrudertop
A fish catcher
The birth of the Intruder was in the Pacific Northwest. It has gone through many evolutions and surely it will continue to evolve, but Jerry's Intruder as it is tied today is a fish catcher. Tied using composite loops, UV materials and an AquaTalon size 2 hook, confidence is high when using this fly. Jerry's Intruder is approximately 3" long.
Joe Gerttop
Summer steelhead fly
The traditional summer steelhead flies were developed on the fabled rivers of the Pacific Northwest, such as the Umpqua, Deschutes, and the Rogue. Our traditional summer steelhead flies are tied on the AquaTalon traditional black, up-turned eye, salmon hook.
Larimer's Reverse Maraboutop
Tom Larimer pattern
Tying marabou in backwards is a great way to get good profile without the bulk.
Luke's Chromewreckertop
Lucas Meeker pattern
The Chromewrecker was originally developed by Lucas Meeker as a large-profile, un-weighted pattern for targeting big water Steelhead in the lower flows of late summer and fall. Fishing big flies un-weighted with a heavier sink tip allows the fly to keep the large profile of a big weighted winter fly, but stay up in the column to snag less in broader and more consistent gradient runs. Many big steelhead flies sink slowly, especially un-weighted, but the Chromewrecker is tied with sparse materials that don't slow the sinkrate.
Muddled Euphoriatop
Modern Muddler
The traditional summer steelhead flies were developed on the fabled rivers of the Pacific Northwest, such as the Umpqua, Deschutes, and the Rogue. Our traditional summer steelhead flies are tied on the AquaTalon traditional black nickel, up-turned eye, salmon hook.
Prom Dresstop
Single stage flash fly
Single stage flash fly
Senyo's Aqua Scanditop
Marabou wing
With a marabou wing and incorporating the new Aqua Veil, this fly has a similar profile to the Predator Scandi, but a touch smaller. Rigged with a AquaTalon Swing hook.
Senyo's Artificial Intelligencetop
Searching style attractor baitfish
The Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is a searching style attractor baitfish pattern. Due to its synthetic build, this fly pattern is extremely durable, lightweight, and provides a serious amount of movement while it swims. The A.I. holds a great profile, retains its shimmer and translucency, and is the perfect option to combat changing water conditions. A proven pattern across the Great Lakes Region to Canadian/Alaskan waters and the West Coast.
Senyo's Flow Ridertop
Large profile with lots of movement
The Flow Rider has a double arctic fox wing to provide a larger profile and a lot of movement in the water. The double bead chain eyes provide enough weight to get the fly down and also a little bit of water resistance to give the fly some extra movement in the softer flows.
Senyo's GL Predator Scanditop
A blend of traditional and modern techniques
Greg Senyo likes to blend traditional Atlantic salmon and steelhead tying techniques with modern synthetic materials, and he has done that with the Predator Scandi series. Tied on a 40mm Senyo shank and using the Senyo Predator Wrap, this fly sparkles in the water. As with all of Greg's patterns, the AquaTalon Swing hook is attached point down.
Senyo's OCDtop
Unweighted, sparse, with a large profile
Senyo's OCD is a great fly in low water conditions because it's unweighted and 3 1/2 inches long. Tied using a Senyo 25 mm shank, ostrich, and Angel Hair, for a fly that swims well in the water.
Silent Assasintop
Summer steelhead fly
The traditional summer steelhead flies were developed on the fabled rivers of the Pacific Northwest, such as the Umpqua, Deschutes, and the Rogue. Our traditional summer steelhead flies are tied on the AquaTalon traditional black nickel, up-turned eye, salmon hook.
Silver Hiltontop
Summer steelhead fly
The traditional summer steelhead flies were developed on the fabled rivers of the Pacific Northwest, such as the Umpqua, Deschutes, and the Rogue. Our traditional summer steelhead flies are tied on the AquaTalon traditional black nickel, up-turned eye, salmon hook.
Single Station Intrudertop
Jerry French pattern
The birth of the Intruder was in the Pacific Northwest. It has gone through many evolutions and surely it will continue to evolve , but Jerry's Intruder as it is tied today is a fish catcher. Tied using composite loops, UV material and an AquaTalon trailer hook, confidence is high when using this fly. Single Station Intruder is about 3.5" in length.
Skunktop
Summer steelhead fly
The traditional summer steelhead flies were developed on the fabled rivers of the Pacific Northwest, such as the Umpqua, Deschutes, and the Rogue. Our traditional summer steelhead flies are tied on the AquaTalon traditional black nickel, up-turned eye, salmon hook.
Steelhead Soft Hackletop
Summer steelhead fly
The traditional summer steelhead flies were developed on the fabled rivers of the Pacific Northwest, such as the Umpqua, Deschutes, and the Rogue. Our traditional summer steelhead flies are tied on the AquaTalon traditional black nickel, up-turned eye, salmon hook.
Stu's Barred Ostrich Intrudertop
Barred ostrich dyed in house
Stu's Barred Ostrich Intruders are tied using barred ostrich that we dye in house. The intruder is on an Aqua Flies 43mm shank with 5/32" brass eyes. Stock flies rigged with an AquaTalon hook.
Stu's Chinook Intruderstop
A larger version of our standard intruders
A larger version of our standard intruder, but tied on a tube, the Chinook Intruder is approximately 4" in length. Using a generous amount of flash and UV enhanced ostrich and schlappen, this intruder is sure to anger a chinook into striking the fly. Rigged with a stout ring eye black nickel hook.
Stu's Metal Head Tubestop
Tube fly tied with Ultra Sonic Cones
Stu Foxall's latest creation is a tube fly utilizing the Pro Sportfisher Ultra Sonic Cones. These cones are made of brass and are slotted. The Ultra Sonic Cone adds some weight to the fly, but is still very easy to lift out of the water due to the venting holes, while maintaining the capability to create a vortex behind the disc, allowing soft materials to swim freely instead of collapsing in hard current.
Stu's Mini-Intrudertop
Mini version of Stu's Ostrich Intruder
Based on our popular Stu's Ostrich Intruder, this miniature version is tied on a 27mm Aqua Flies shank and a 5/32" brass dumbbell eye. Rigged with a size 2 AquaTalon hook.
Stu's Ostrich Intrudertop
Tied with long flowing materials
Using long flowing materials is one of the key Intruder features. Stu's Intruders are tied on the 43mm Aqua Flies shank and a 5/32-inch brass eye. Stock flies come with an AquaTalon hook.
Stu's PrawnTruderstop
Tube Fly
Best of Show for Freshwater Fly Pattern at International Fly Tackle Dealer Show. Stu's PrawnTruder looks like a large, lively prawn when in the water. Tied on a plastic tube, it is easy to cast and fish-friendly. Its large profile will find those aggressive fish in the river. The feelers and rubber legs create movement, even in the weakest of currents.
Stumptown Prawntop
100% synthetic
There is a devoted group of steelhead fly tiers in the Portland, Oregon area. They bring us this very unique style of steelhead fly. The Stumptown Prawn is 100% synthetic, making it easy to cast and it sinks well. Plenty of movement with this fly as it is tied with an Aqua Fur wing and rubber legs that wiggle in the slightest of currents.
Sun Ray Shadowstop
Swims like a snake
Featuring Arctic fox and select extra-long goat, this fly swims like a snake in the water. Sun Ray Shadows are tied on a plastic tube with a soft tube in the back as a hook holder. Available with either 3/4-inch or 1-inch tube.
Trailer Trashtop
Intruder style fly
The Trailer Trash is an Intruder style fly. The TT has a large profile with great movement and little bulk. With no weight in the fly and the use of marabou and ostrich, this fly can be swung in the shallows but still have a lot of movement. Steelhead, Pacific Salmon and Sea-Run Browns will attach this fly.
Turbo Cone Tubestop
Tied with a wide-profile cone
These new wide-profile cones create a turbo vortex at the front of a tube fly. The turbo cone gives the fly a unique swimming action. The action combined with the soft materials, which pulsate to mimic breathing, produces a fly that drives fish crazy. Whether fishing in the slowest or hardest of currents, the fly will move and pulsate like no other pattern. In addition to the unique movements, the turbo cone also provides a little bit of weight to help get the fly down. Our Turbo Cone Tube Flies are tied on a 1.25-inch tube with a 10mm turbo cone.
Ultra Mini-Intrudertop
Jerry French's newest Intruder design
Jerry French's newest Intruder design utilizing the Ultra Rig. The Ultra Rig is a new system to rig shank flies with a trailing hook. The Ultra Rig is made with 50 pound Spider Wire, Ultra Tubing and a size 2 AquaTalon hook. This rigging system eliminates the use of wire as a trailing loop. The Ultra Rig system allows the angler to change out the hook without damaging the fly or the trailing loop. The only commercially tied fly with this rigging system. In addition to the rigging system, this intruder is tied using an Aqua Flies Shank, Aqua Flies Intruder Eyes and the Aqua Flies Un-Real Jungle Cock.
Ultra Squidtop
With many features that are enticing to a steelhead
The Ultra Squid is a pattern that encompasses many features that are enticing to a steelhead. Materials that breath. A natural silhouette. Barred and speckled just like a natural living creature. Unique to the Ultra Squid is the rigging. Using 50 pound Spider Wire threaded through tubing and hitched to an AquaTalon hook. The combination of the two makes it possible to position the hook up or down by simply rotating the tubing. The rigging is the best of both worlds and better than any wire or braid alone. The hook is fixed in the ideal location in the fly to maximize ideal hook up with excellent flexibility and no bending or breakage of wire. The hook can easily be replaced by pushing the tubing up the hook bend enough to release the girth hitch. The Ultra-Rig allows the angler to replace the hook without damaging the trailer loop. The only fly tied commercially with such a unique rigging.

Mahonytop
Hogan's
"Bright red is a hot color for steelhead.. It's probably my favorite color to employ when fishing behind other anglers in winter and spring.
The Mahony is a simple spey-style fly I tied in honor of Jerry Mahony of Seattle Washington, a fine angler who frequents the Sauk river. After the huge flood of 1990, the Skagit and Sauk Rivers saw many dramatic changes.
One of the positive changes was on the Sauk where a beautiful and reliably productive run was formed. Jerry Mahony was the first person I ever saw fishing it. So my immediate reference to the spot was "Mahoney's," hence the name of this now popular run and my red spey fly."
Summer Irontop
Classic hair wing steelhead flies
"Steelhead flies tied with a hair wing have long been the standard. My introduction to steelheading came while tying flies.
Inspired by the classic hair wing steelhead flies, my Summer Irons are the result of years of alterations. The Er Fly is my go-to summer fly. I fish it from sunrise to sunset.
On dark mornings and late into the evening, the Flat Lander or the Bulkley Blye may get the call. Lacking confidence on bright sunny days, I will switch to the Black Bear Bright. Fishing a steelhead fly with confidence is the most important aspect of steelheading. Having these four summer irons in my fly box, I can step into any steelhead river with full confidence."
