Emphasis is on the blank for all VOR rods. With high recovery speed it will make life easier for a more novice caster, a great step in on your first Nam rod. Comes in a cloth bag and a triangular cordura tube.
12'6" 7wt 6pc is a classic size for river fishing for salmon, sea trout and steelhead. With it's smooth action it works great with both a Skagit setup or Scandi setup. For Skagit set up we have ued a 450 grain belly and T-tips at 10 feet. For Scandi we use our #7 shooting heads.
13'2" 8wt 6pc is a versatile rod both for a mix of salmon rivers and also great tool for your upcoming trip to BC. Works great if you need to fish lighter flies for spooky fish in low water or if you need to put on that heavy T-tip to come down in cold water conditions.
