Do you struggle with tying tiny chironomids? In this 3 hour course Gordie Brown will show you some tricks and help you gain confidence in tying the wee ones. Getting the proportions right; ribbing with detail; tying in a "V-gill"; adding depth to the fly; and adding wing buds. And, you will get to take home a few awesome patterns!
Requirements
Most of the tying materials including hooks, beads, ribbing, and gill material will be provided. You will need to bring your own vise and tools as well as UTC 70 Blue Dun thread or equivalent. If you have it brushable Loc- Tite Super Glue, Solarex resin, and a light to cure are helpful and will speed up the tying.
