Kiritmati is a tiny coral atoll in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean with a incredible series of flats filled with bonefish, GT, other trevally, triggerfish and many other awesome fish. It is a sight fishing mecca! And, is the ultimate bonefisihng destination for all skill levels of fly fishers. The cost is $3590.00 (USD) per angler, which includes 6 days of guided fishing, lodging (2 per room), food, and airport transfers on the island. It does not include flights, overnight in Honolulu, fishing license, gratuities, or alcohol.

Each day you will start with an early breakfast, make your lunches and then travel by boat to access endless flats, hiking and fishing with your own personal guide, hunting GT's and bonefish. At the end of the day there will return to the lodge for refreshments and appetizers (fresh sashimi) while you clean up and relax. Cold beers, wine, and cocktails are at your fingertips. Peacock Bass and Payara Expedition - Colombiatop

"Asiwere' means Big Peacock bass in Sikuani, yet peacock bass are but a small part of what the fishing at Mapiri Lodge has to offer. Fish for monster peacock bass, payara on topwater, 20 pound pacu on flies, disproportionally large matrinxa’s, gilded and red tail catfish over 100 pounds, giant piraiba and tambaqui pushing 80 pounds.

It's great when you have several of these species in one place, but to have all these species, in these sizes and abundance is nothing short of spectacular.

Guests will be treated to wall tent accommodations at the main camp and comfortable wilderness tent camping at the upper camp.

There is no cell service on the river but guests will have access to a satellite phone if an emergency arises

Currency:

Colombian Peso. Please make sure you bring enough to settle extra expenses in town and tips. Tips can be done in Dollars but pesos is more convenient for the staff

Tackle is not included

Wilderness camping: While we try to make the camp as comfortable as possible, guests are advised that this trip is aimed at the adventurous with a bare minimum level of fitness required

A 50% deposit is required to secure your rod with the balance to be paid 45 days before the trip.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INSURANCE:

While basic travel insurance is included, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that clients purchase Global Rescue insurance.

MEDICAL EVACUATIONS:

It is important that clients have adequate travel and medical insurance that includes Medical Evacuation from point of Injury. Global Rescue offers the most comprehensive and inclusive insurance.

CANCELLATION PROCEDURE:

Cancellation by client: Notification of cancellation must be in writing and is effective as of the date it is received by Fish Colombia Expeditions. Should a person cancel a tour and cannot find an immediate replacement:

If Fish Colombia has more than 180 days notice, deposit is forfeited unless dates can be resold, in which case a 10% admin fee will apply.

If Fish Colombia has between 179 and 91 days notice, 70% of tour costs are forfeited, unless the client can find a replacement. In which case a 10% admin fee will apply.

If Fish Colombia has less than 90 days notice, 100% of our costs are forfeited, unless the client can find a replacement in which case a 15% admin fee will apply.

If you fail to join a tour, or join after departure, or leave prior to its completion, no reimbursement whatsoever will be made.

CUBA - Canarreos Archipelago Live Aboardtop

Join Ryan Heitz and Tim Arsenault on an all inclusive fly fishing trip to the Canarreoa Archipelago in Cuba. We are going to board a small live aboard yacht, travel amongst the islands and use fly fishing flats boats to access the fishing. This trip is 6 full days fishing and 7 nights onboard the Avalon I (our boat). Rates include reception in Havana, transfers from and to Havana, all meals, and an open bar with beer, wine, rum and soft drinks.   

The Jardines Avalon I has exceptional cruising capabilities allowing you to access the most remote areas of the Canarreos archipelago during you week fishing the Cayo Largo program. This very spacious 110 foot live aboard yacht has a total of 10 rooms with 2 being convertible queen size cabins featuring side by side beds and 8 deluxe state rooms each with single side by side beds. Each state room is equipped with its own private bathroom, toilet, shower, individual climate controls and a safe.

There is an air conditioned lounge featuring a large screen TV and DVD system for unwinding and watching those amazing fishing videos from your day out on the flats. The lounge is also equipped with a complete digital and photo editing computer if you would like to use it during your stay. The shaded upper sun deck and cushioned chairs and couches are waiting for you to take a siesta in the afternoon or enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The yacht is also equipped with a jacuzzi, which is the perfect place to enjoy a mojito after a long day of fishing.

The food aboard the Jardines Avalon I is a wonderful selection of Cuban cuisine, grilled fresh seafood and vegetables along with many international delights. The chef is well versed in many different styles and will be sure to amaze you during your stay aboard this boat. In addition there is a full bar with a selection of Cuban beers and rum, international wines, and a variety of spirits. Our attentive crew will be there to take care of your every need and make sure you have a wonderful trip.

Cayo Largo, one of our favorite destinations and most exclusive fisheries, is getting a serious upgrade! Starting in the 2020 season, we will be utilizing a 10 room mother boat, the new Jardines Avalon I, to accommodate our anglers for this amazing program. Spending a week aboard a mothership yacht will create a luxurious and exclusive experience with the highest quality of food, lodging, and service. With a maximum of 6 skiffs booked in the entire area for the week, this will also prove to be Cuba's most exclusive and innovative fishing destination.

Even better, we are going to be able to offer this program as a Saturday to Saturday week. Clients will board the yacht in the Zapesca area 3 hours south of Havana on Saturday and navigate to Cayo Largo and fish full days Sunday through Friday. On the following Saturday the mother boat will return to Zapesca where clients will disembark to make an afternoon flight out from the Havana airport. This program will require no additional nights in Havana and remove the early morning air transfers that have been characteristic of the Cayo Largo program in the past.

Life on the live aboard is relaxed and completely customizable. You can fish much longer hours on the skiff every day if you wish. Whenever you're finished and ready to unwind, the yacht will be a close run away so you may enjoy all the aspects of our luxury service. You'll be greeted by a welcoming crew, a cold mojito, and then a lobster dinner. With Cayo Largo being our top destination for Grand Slams, this will allow clients more hours on the water chasing the fish of their dreams.
