Where better to learn than mother nature's classroom!  We will cover all the aspects of each fly fishing discipline, everything from casting to proper fish handling.

Proper fishing attire will be required; sessions will commence regardless of weather.*  Tackle wader rentals are available.

PINK SALMON FLY FISHING COURSE

In 2009 the Fraser and Harrison Rivers will see thousands upon thousands of Pink salmon. In this course you will spend the day on the water learning some of the methods used to catch this aggressive fish on the fly.  Reading the water, fly selection, presentation and casting techniques will all be covered.

Scheduling and Requirements **
Classes are in September, on the Fraser and/or Harrison River. Limited to 9 students.

**Students will be required to have a suitable rod & reel outfit (6, 7 or 8 weight) and appropriate river wading attire. (Check your regulations for licensing requirements).

Cost: $125.00 plus GST

COHO FLY FISHING COURSE
Spend a day learning the methods for this great sport fish.  The emphasis will be on coho habitat, reading the water, fly selection, presentation and casting techniques.

Scheduling and Requirements **
Classes are in October and November, on the Harrison River. Limited to 9 students.

**Students will be required to have a suitable rod & reel outfit (7 or 8 weight) and appropriate river wading attire. (Check your regulations for licensing requirements).

Steelhead School
You will spend the day on the water learning about tackle, techniques, and strategies for hunting the amazing, yet elusive Steelhead. Emphasis on reading water, line control, presentations, fly selection and ethics.

Dates are subject to change due to water conditions *(i.e. flood; we will postpone to next available day).  Transportation on the water via jet boat. Maximum 5 students per class. Course will include an evening prep-night.

**Pre-requisites are basic fly fishing skills, 7+ weight rod & reel system, wading apparel, flies, tippet, and cold weather gear. (Check your regulations for licensing requirements).

Cost: $175.00 plus GST.

SEA RUN CUTTHROAT TROUT

Learn the methods and techniques to catch these beautiful coastal Cutthroats from Guide Curtis Meyers. The day will include jet boat transportation from Kilby Park, casting instruction and river fishing techniques, as well as an evening prep night.
Maximum enrollment will be 9 students.

Scheduling and Requirements **
Dates are subject to change due to water conditions *(i.e. flood; we will postpone to next available day).  Transportation on the water via jet boat. Maximum 9 students per class. Course will include an evening prep-night.

**Pre-requisites are basic fly fishing skills, 3-6 weight rod & reel system, wading apparel, flies, tippet, and cold weather gear.

WINTER TROUT

During this course you will travel up Harrison Lake to the Lillooet River. Along the way your teacher and Guide, Curtis Meyers will discuss techniques, tackle, and strategy for finding trout in the dead of winter. Once there you will have the opportunity to fish this beautiful, remote river and will have a great chance to catch Rainbows, Cutthroat, Dollies, and Whitefish. The day will include jet boat transportation from Harrison Hot Springs, casting instruction and river fishing techniques. Maximum enrollment will be 5 students.

Scheduling and Requirements **
Dates are subject to change due to water conditions *(i.e. flood; we will postpone to next available day).  There is a good chance that weather will make the lake crossing very rough. If it is too dangerous and the boat has to turn around the day will be re-scheduled but it will cost an additional $50.00 per person fro fuel. If this is the case you will still fish the first day, just not on the Lillooet. Transportation on the water via jet boat. Maximum 5 students per class.

**Pre-requisites are basic fly fishing skills, 2-6 weight rod & reel system, wading apparel, flies, tippet, and cold weather gear.
(Check your regulations for licensing requirements).

STILLWATER FISHING WEEKEND

Spend the weekend at beautiful 7 1/2 Diamond Ranch on a private lake with trophy rainbow trout. During the weekend you will learn to fish using different techniques. Some of these are Indicator fishing, using a floating line without an indicator, and using sinking lines. Presenting chironomids, damselfly nymphs, dragonfly nymphs, water boatman, shrimp, mayfly nymphs, leeches, and caddis fly nymphs will be discussed and practiced.

Requirements: Students are responsible for transportation to the ranch although a carpool can be arranged. Food and beverages are included.

**Pre-requisites are basic fly fishing skills, 4-7 weight single hand rod & reel system with a floating and sinking line, a personal water craft (either pram, float tube, or pontoon boat) appropriate apparel, and a sleeping bag or blankets. A fishing license is not required
